Terms of Service

Effective date: 1 May 2025

1. About FaberFlow

FaberFlow (trading name — UK legal entity registration pending) operates the FaberFlow platform. FaberFlow is a platform designed to connect tradespeople with clients and to facilitate the management of quotes and job payments. By creating an account or using any part of our service, you agree to these Terms of Service.

FaberFlow intends to offer a buy-now-pay-later facility enabling tradespeople to receive payment for completed quotes while clients repay the balance in monthly instalments. This credit facility is subject to regulatory authorisation and is currently available on a limited pre-launch basis. Full availability will be confirmed once the required authorisation is in place.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts under the laws of England and Wales to use FaberFlow. By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it up to date.

FaberFlow is intended for use by persons based in the United Kingdom. Use of this platform from outside the United Kingdom is at your own risk and is not supported.

3. Account types

Tradesperson accounts are for individuals or businesses that perform skilled trade work (plumbing, electrical, building, painting, and similar). Tradespeople must complete identity and trade verification before receiving payouts.

Client accounts are for individuals who wish to hire tradespeople and repay job costs over time. Clients must consent to a credit assessment before accepting a quote on credit terms, subject to the credit facility being available.

4. Quotes and payments

When a tradesperson sends a quote through FaberFlow and a client accepts it, FaberFlow aims to disburse the full job amount to the tradesperson promptly, subject to successful credit assessment of the client and the availability of the credit facility.

Where the credit facility is available, clients repay the job amount to FaberFlow in equal monthly instalments over the agreed repayment period (1, 3, or 6 months). Repayments are interest-free. Clients are responsible for ensuring sufficient funds are available on each repayment date.

Tradespeople acknowledge that once a payout has been made, the debt obligation lies between the client and FaberFlow — the tradesperson has no further liability or recourse in the event of client default.

5. Tradesperson subscription & fees

FaberFlow charges a job deduction fee on each payout. The rate depends on your subscription tier:

FreeFree · 15% per job
Pro£30/mo · 10% per job
Premium£50/mo · 5% per job

Monthly subscription fees are charged via Stripe at the start of each billing period. Downgrading or cancelling takes effect immediately. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.

6. Credit assessment

Where the credit facility is available, by accepting a quote on credit terms, clients consent to FaberFlow performing a creditworthiness assessment. This may involve sharing personal information with credit reference agencies or third-party data providers. FaberFlow reserves the right to decline a credit application or reduce the approved credit amount at its sole discretion. Declined applications will not result in any charge to the client.

7. Disputes

If a client disputes the quality or completion of work, they must raise a dispute through the FaberFlow platform within 7 days of the job being marked complete. FaberFlow may, at its discretion, pause repayments during an active dispute investigation. Tradespeople must cooperate fully with any dispute process. FaberFlow's decision on disputes is final.

8. Prohibited conduct

You may not:

  • Provide false or misleading information during registration or verification
  • Use the platform to facilitate fraudulent transactions
  • Attempt to manipulate credit assessments
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or otherwise misuse the platform
  • Use FaberFlow for any purpose that violates UK law

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension and referral to relevant authorities.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FaberFlow and its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. FaberFlow's total liability in any matter shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to FaberFlow in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of FaberFlow after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
